Synopsis. You can have any physics you like

Our today’s physics deals with the interaction of particles and waves inside our World. Below I shall put forward a new notion that turns out to be the corner stone of physics-both today's physics and physics of future.

This new notion is interaction between different worlds.

This simple innovation completely changes the character of physics:

1.  Now derivation of physics does not need experiment, laws of physics can be deduced from some principles or ideals. As example, magnitudes of all physical constants will be deduced. To have physics that is above matter means that matter is now in our power. We find out here many new physical effects. One of those effects I had proved by experiment - see Section 27 Ch.1.

2.  The role of matter now plays by principles or ideals inside the initial worlds (before their interaction). Those ideals do not need to be in accordance with “the demands of reality”, because we do not live in any of those worlds.

.    Here a free flight of imagination is allowable, principles or ideals can be taken from any realm of science, art, religion, mysticism, from any willful dreaming.

3.  But you must have the right sense of the meaning of our World, must have the complete number of contradictory meanings of this kind. As out put you will have many different physics, many different worlds - see Fig.2.

Fig.2. Different kinds of physics depending on importance of two ideals.

4.  You mast ensure the existing ideals of the other spheres of culture to be rewritten in the course of evolution from the ideals of initial (before sticking together) worlds.

5.  Other demand on this construction: one of those new worlds must be for some experimental situations identical to our today’s world. This demand usually fulfilled automatically because the higher worlds are clogged by our lower reality (as example - through our language).

6.  But the above mentioned ideals predict new situations where we have many new physical effects. We have here the unity of different realms of our physics – quantum mechanics, gravitation, and basic interactions. We have the unity of physics as a whole and other realms of culture.

        7.  After doing all that we would have our today’s world to be tightly connected

to many other worlds – you can fly to any of those worlds with the help of the

             above mentioned new effects.

        8.  The same ideals can ensure not only new possibilities in the sphere of matter

but also the aesthetic, religious, mystical criterions - see Ch.3-8.

I shall describe the procedure of the flight to other world (see Introduction,

Section 8) and some prototypes of the material ship for this flight (Sections 25-27 Ch.1). But those innovations touch higher worlds and, as result, all that work only for a small number of people. The problem here is not only to go out of our world but also to endure, to understand new world. Here all our traditions turn out to be needed (see Ch.3-8). We can not say with Laplace “we do not need this hypothesis” in relation to any “absurd” belief. Those beliefs become a part of our dialogue with Creator.

All that demonstrates the effectiveness of proposed key to our world and to other worlds. This key has the form of an algorithm. To put this key at work we must:

1.  take our most lofty but contradictory ideals and put them in different worlds;

2.  assume an interaction between worlds; this interaction is the result of a symmetry breaking and turns out to be unique;

3.  find out our physics and new effects among new collective modes;

4.  with the help of those effects return to the worlds of ideals.

In the Chapter1 I take the simplest case of different worlds – the worlds that are different only in two directions of the arrow of time and in two directions of the arrow of causality (the cause of action can be at the beginning or at the end of the path) .

In this case, if we take as initial internal (for any world) dynamics, for example, the classical electrodynamics of zero mass electrons, we would have as result of intersection of worlds:

1.  Quantum mechanics and gravitation with all details.

2.  Proper values of all fundamental physical constants.

3.  Various new effects on usual scales of space-time and energy.

With those new effects we can, in principle, go out of time and matter. But to enter new physical worlds we need techniques of Ch.3-8.

New physics follows from some ideals of higher worlds and demands on our world. Those ideals generate equation (20) of Chapter1. As solutions to this equation we have all equations of today’s physics and many new relations. Those solutions have some unusual and unexpected features:

1.                         They turn out to be unique. Hence we do not need experiment.

2.                         The gravitational waves turn out to be the main aspect of our universe.

3.                         The Coulomb force is the result of the response from the universe.

4.                         The wandering of particles between the initial worlds generate strong interaction of those worlds.

After extending the number of ideals of initial (perfect) worlds we would have as result of symmetry breaking an unlimited number of new material worlds so real as our own.

This text may be hard for reading, because I omit many details that are obvious for me. But this intuition may be the result of my long drawing in this new paradigm. The reader may see many points not so evident. But I am not going in near future to explain this text, because I am busy with different further developments and applications. Though I welcome any notes, objections, questions that are the result of original thoughts.

Introduction

1.    What is our World? What is our physics?

Now the majority of physicists do not expect something useful from any “philosophy.” Actually, they have a philosophy so on the most part on an unconscious level. Reading a text they suppose for author the same kind of ideology. If the author’s philosophy were of another kind, then the modern physicist would not understand anything, because he does not want to follow the language of general considerations.

For this text we have exactly the same case. In the modern unconscious foundations of physics our World is seen as something self-sufficient or something regulated from above. But I see our World to be a message between two other worlds. If I want to communicate my emotional motives to another human being, I pass these motives through the hierarchy of levels of my language till some very formal level. My partner travels this way in inverse order.

This model explains both the way of transgression and redemption in religion and my general plan of the World depicted on Fig. 17 of Chapter 2. This analogy is very useful but now I am interested only in one of its functions: the explanation of the roles of different worlds that are the central notion of this book.

These worlds are an inevitable consequence of the procedure of translation of a message from one level to another. Any object of our World, any being, earthly or celestial, takes part in this translation. Any set of similar objects, any society carries out an aspect of the whole translation, and in the interests of this translation constructs its own world. Those worlds I have in mind in the title of this book.

Our culture gives us many examples of genesis of these worlds and their evolution. But the interaction of these worlds is usually outside our sphere of attention.

But for the whole translation this interaction is a prime necessity. And, as will be shown below, it is precisely this interaction that generates our physics.

The usual scientific picture of evolution is the result of interaction of worlds that take part in above-mentioned translation. A number of different worlds can stick together, this sticking can generate a number of new worlds, these new worlds can stick together, and so on.

This considerations seems at first glance to be usual naturphilosophy but actually they are not usual because they effectively work in the realm of science and generate different exact relations.

2.    The main mistake of today’s physics

Our today’s physics is, in general, in accordance with experimental data. But its basic notions, the direction of interests, the type of questions, the modes of experimental settings are taken from the same theory that these experiments were assigned to prove or disprove. Then with these experiments we can only elucidate some details of the way that may be the dead end.

Some people will object: “It is impossible that all those clever scientists, all famous institutions are mistaken. God does not allow this!” The answer is: God offers us a helping hand in the form of our physical language that is symmetric in two signs of time. This language is not necessary, but it is aesthetically appealing for us. This conflict of reality and aesthetics occupied the minds of Maxwell, Boltzman, Einstein, Schroedinger, Prigogine, Feynman. I have taken up the torch and have puzzled out the meaning of this sign (that is the topic of this chapter). As a result, the physics finds itself to be all in the air and with the help of the other sign (see Chapter 2) start to move to redemption. There are another signs of the same kind, they will be discussed in the next chapters.

The above-mentioned meaningless vicious circle is a general feature of any branch of natural and cultural evolution. But there are some rare exceptions to this rule and only these exceptions have the future. This book claims to be such an exception. And it is the first exception that knows itself as such an exception.

I can state this because I tear up the above circle using some knowledge about the place of physics in the general plan of Creation. This knowledge (or feeling) is not experimental and not theoretical. It is taken from higher realms of culture.

3.    The physics worthy of The Creator

To go out of the mentioned above vicious circle we must go to an all-embracing generating level of higher ideals that is above both our today’s theory and our today’s type of experiments.

To accomplish this task we must move from our today’s one-level physics to a new two-level physics. Here higher level can be constructed, for example, as a covering (a term from math) on some contradictory dynamics of low level. Examples of such a covering we have in mathematics, philosophy, art, religion, mysticism.

We can take the most general kind of covering and construct it according to ideals that we consider the deepest. Our culture rewrites those ideals from real divine dynamics. All that is trivial but I put forward for those covering some additional demand:

There must be different forms of covering, different elements inside any covering and this (interacting!) multiplicity must generate a number of symmetry breakings that have as a part of their output our observable world. That is the demand on unknown interaction between the elements of a covering.

The drive to construct coverings is an inborn feature of our mind but all our culture did not notice the main element here: multiplicity. Through this multiplicity we can have very rigid norms in a society of “light-heartedly playing” individuals. According to the general plan of the World (Fig.17 Ch.2) there are some beings before Big Bang that are similar to angels. I name this beings "angels".

The norms of those beings we percept (according to general plan of the World) as mathematics and physics. If we know these relations we can follow their consequences for our picture of natural and cultural evolution. In this way we can prove or disprove all that.

But the most interesting fact here is that derived physics turns out to be different from today's physics and new features of this physics are tightly connected with details of the picture of angelic life.

Hence we can construct apparatus that enhance different aspects of angelic life in connection with our actions, feelings, state of consciousness (all that is a part of angelic life).

Hence we can have dialogue with angels and through them dialogue with God.

We can go to angelic World - see Ch.3-8..

Fig.3. Physics is identical to angelic norms.

4.    Unlimited possibilities of the new approach

On the higher covering level we can put any number of ideals we like – here we do not bother about any similarity to our today’s World. After symmetry breaking these new ideals (or principles) transform into new relations between observable entities.

Those new relations can take the place of today's reference to experiment. Hence we can construct theory that does not need any reference to experiment. This theory will reflect reality - not reality of our material word but ideals of higher realms of our culture. These ideals can generate our material world but now it is only a small part of a numberless multiplicity of the worlds of this kind.

Any new relation gives us new ways to manipulate, to change the laws of physics. Then we have here many new effects.

5.    The practice worthy of human beings

If we know the configurations that generate new effects, we can design our environment according to these configurations and ensure the maximum magnitude of new effects.

With those effects we can reverse the dynamics of symmetry breaking and transform our environment to initial higher covering world of ideals.

6.    The source of perfection

Ideals can be taken from anywhere. Actually, those ideals existed long before the advent of physics and left their mark on different spheres of science, art, religion, mysticism.

The language of these ideals needs not be the language of physics. In this case we can take as a covering dynamics the dynamics of some living and conscious beings – norms of those beings turn out to be identical to the laws of higher level physics (see Fig.2).

I have a special technique for constructing the language and the state of consciousness of these higher beings and a special technique for deriving their norms of communication and norms of behavior. But this topic is outside this chapter.

As a result, instead of today’s physics, that is assumed to be a consequence of our fight for existence and our love for knowledge, we may have, for example:

physics of play

physics of flight to other worlds

physics of love

physics of saintliness

physics of the most general senses (or meanings)

Those new types of physics are constructed in the same manner as the physics of this chapter but instead of ideals of the symmetry of two signs of time and two signs of causality we must take the ideals of the mentioned above realms.

Those physics differ by ideals of initial worlds. Different physicists can accept different ideals – the output can also be different but equally real.

All these (and many others) physics (see Fig.1) can be constructed through the above four steps: construction of covering, symmetry breaking, using new effects for returning to the level of covering, embodiment of this scheme in our environment. I have here many advances but actually I have only one example where the above scheme is carried out in full extent. This example and this first step can be named

physics of the unity of four worlds with different arrows of time and different arrows of causality

This first step took all my life.

The consequences of this first step make the content of Chapter1..

7.    Everything from almost nothing

The interaction between the worlds reveals itself in a number of symmetry breakings that generate our observable World.

Then I can deduce the character of interaction from the demands on results of this symmetry breakings.

The results of the symmetry breakings are completely determined by the above ideals and demands. We shall not need any reference to experiment.

The reference to experiment is transformed here into the new relations that have the form of reference to some features of our near and far environment. The connections to the near environment generate new effects on usual scales of space-time and energy.

The different realms of today’s physics now turn out to be tightly connected because they turn out to be different (and interrelated) aspects of a common symmetry breaking.

Contrary to our today’s physics, which is assumed now to be near its final form, the new physics turns out to be open in different directions. Only some new effects can be described in today’s physical language. The most interesting effects (see Fig.3) need the language and ideals from other spheres of culture. In turn, those effects are very important for these spheres and will change them completely in the near future.

Fig.3. True physics.

All this will be discussed in the sequence of chapters. This chapter is the first of them. Here I take the simplest case of the four worlds that differ in two signs of the arrow of time and two signs of the arrow of causality. This case is simple because we have here the same language in the different worlds. But the mathematics here turned out to be unusually complicated. Despite this fact, wonderful new horizons support my enthusiasm and, I hope, the enthusiasm of the readers.

8.    The rebellion against the tyranny of time and matter

For the case discussed in this chapter, I have a “sign of Testament” that simplifies all matter: the basic equations of physics written for all particles in the universe admit two signs of time (signals can arrive both from the past and from the future) and two signs of causality (entropy can both increase and decrease). Then our equations admit four identical copies of our universe.

From our experience we know only one such copy. Then a problem arises: where are the other three?

To solve this problem I shall assume all four worlds to be tightly sticking together – our today’s physics is one of the results of this sticking. As initial physics before this sticking I can take something ultimately simple and aesthetically appealing.

This sticking must be self-supporting and will be calculated by the usual procedure of dealing with symmetry breaking. The resulting dynamics turns out to be in some aspects symmetric in respect to four initial worlds but different collective modes of this new dynamics once again demonstrate two signs of time and two signs of causality.

Once again we can suppose an interaction of those four modes but now no solution comes about. Then we have four non-interacting worlds and our World is one of them. Hence we have here a delicate play of symmetry and symmetry breaking.

I shall demonstrate for this procedure the simplest initial dynamics (inside the initial four worlds): classical electrodynamics with zero mass electron. Not because this dynamics is somehow fundamental but because we have here simple and well known formulas.

The results of this symmetry breaking (or this sticking of four worlds) turn out to be unusually vast with many unexpected far-reaching consequences. That is the result of two incommensurable levels: high level of ideals (symmetric in two arrows of time) and our mundane observable level (one arrow of time). We get for usual experimental situations all recipes of relativistic quantum mechanics and general relativity theory with the values of the mass of electron, Planck constant, gravitational constant that are near their experimental values. But the most interesting are the new effects. Those effects turn out to be of widespread occurrence in nature but now they are not known as radio waves were not known before Maxwell and Hertz.

With those new effects we can go out of time and matter as in the near past we have gone out of the field of Earth gravity. Actually, we have here the flight to other worlds but this topic will not be discussed in this chapter.

In this way we can return to the world of ideal prephysics. This adventure needs the knowledge of many details of this ideal world. These details are revealed in the picture of natural and cultural evolution and can be rewritten from this picture (I have designed here a special technique) or from special experimental procedures enhancing the needed new effects.

Actually, you can take here any system of ideals and you will have as output any physics you like. These new worlds (see Fig.4) will be as real as our today’s world.

Fig.4. New worlds.

This is a general description of my first principles. People usually do not read descriptions of this kind because they do not expect something concrete here. The function of principles is assumed to be auxiliary. But as I shall demonstrate below, this system of principles effectively works without any reference to experiment. That is the topic of this chapter.

9.    The harvest of new effects

The results of this work have the form of some new relations between quantities that now seem to be unconnected.

Below I list some relations of this kind – in a highly simplified symbolic form:

1.  The mass of electron as a function of near and far environment

where     N – number of particles under the horizon

R – distance to the horizon

              e – charge of electron

v – velocity of the matter of the universe (along a radius-vector)

r – density of particles at the distance r

               – a special undumping frequency

2.  Planck constant (and fine structure constant)

where     – constant of electromagnetic interaction

               – constant of strong interaction

                    – constant of fundamental (quark’s) interaction

The first approximation to the fine structure constant is

3.  Gravitational constant

4.  Relations between the strengths of basic interactions (at low energies):

The constant  will be discussed in the next chapter. Here electromagnetism is not something basic, it is derived. The groups of symmetry of particles, the nature and Higgs field are also explained.

5.  The collapse of y-function in the act of measurement

6.  Frequency of the natural cutoff in quantum field theory

7.  The dependence of mass on expansion or contraction of the near environment

where          v        –      velocity of a uniform expansion or contraction (in the units of the velocity of light)

r        –      size of an expanding or contracting volume

                         –      density of particles in this volume

R       –      distance to the horizon

                        –      density of particles in the universe

                      –      mass of the universe (under the horizon)

8.  The condition for macroscopic change of the arrow of causality in a volume with negative temperature (for some frequencies)

where          r      –        size of the volume

                       –        density of particles in this volume

                   T     –        negative temperature

                      –        the temperature of primordial radiation.

Besides any of these formulas we have new realm of physics, new physical effects – sometimes on the usual scales of space-time and energy.

The system of the above initial principles is simple.

The new formulas are simple.

But the deduction of these formulas from these principles turns out to be unusually complex – this deduction is the topic of this chapter. It is not “a new step at front-line of science” – it is a revision of the basis of physics. Special and general relativity theory, quantum mechanics must be extended to include new important factors.

All the above formulas are the consequences of a very simple initial dynamics inside the four worlds. The actual dynamics (it will be described in the next chapters) is much more vast and interesting – then we shall have many new formulas of the above kinds.

A preliminary version of this work was published in [1], [2].

1.    Four contradictory worlds (as the omen of the Testament) and the principles of construction of their unity

Changes of the arrow of time and the arrow of causality are compatible with basic equation of physics. Then we can take our universe and through changes of the arrows we would have another three universes. The entire number is four:

2

decreasing

3

4

Table 1. Four worlds.

We shall get the rules of choosing the proper solution for waves and for particles in these worlds by applying the same transformation to the rules of our World.

As dynamics inside these worlds I will take classical electrodynamics with zero mass electrons on the background of an unknown curvilinear metrics. Later on I shall replace classical electrodynamics by a more general classical dynamics.

Then I suppose for these four worlds some unknown relations which must generate (through the symmetry breaking) something that is stable and has only one arrow of time and one arrow of causality. These demands completely determine the relations between the worlds and the dynamics after symmetry breaking. This dynamics turns out to be identical in the usual experimental situations to our today’s physics, but we have here many new situations where physics (and “reality”) is completely new.

I put forward four principles of unity of the four worlds.

1. Symmetrization in two signs of the arrow of time and in two signs of the arrow of causality must start from the complete all-embracing negation.

The four worlds are completely suspended without any external support, though this support exists and will be discussed in the next chapters. But the language that is needed here is very far from our today’s physical language.

This principle of complete negation is important because all previous attempts at symmetrization in two signs of time assumed a common world for waves or particles with different signs of time.

For example, the most advanced two-signs-of-time theory, the electrodynamics of Wheeler and Feynman [3] presuppose a common “time-symmetric” electron and common cosmological model for retarded and advanced waves.

Below I put forward the “absolute” symmetrization. It is absolute in two senses:

1. I changed the signs of the arrow of time for the world as a whole, i.e. for waves, particles and cosmology.

2. I changed both the signs of the arrow of dynamical time and the signs of the arrow of statistical time (increasing or decreasing entropy).
